Technical Difficulties Unresolvable!!!

April 30, 2013 Posted by suefairview

That is correct dear readers! We are completely stymied by the inability to get the insert link/link icon malfunction corrected at this time. Thus we are going to wait until WordPress comes out with Version 3.6 that hopefully will work. Version 3.6 is currently being beta tested, so it shouldn’t be too long, In the meantime, I will post the url of the site to be linked, and you will have to deal with that. I apologize for this inconvenience.

20 Mile Bicycle Ride from New Haven Green to Cosi Beach

April 30, 2013 Posted by suefairview

Last Saturday, I went on this ride with my friend Susan from the library. We put both of our bicycles in her Honda Fit. that is her in the orange jersey above, and that is the New Haven Green flagpole, with the town hall in the background. She is holding up my Trek. Mark, in the yellow was the leader. He set an extremely slow pace.

It was a totally un-hilly ride and after a few miles in the city heading South, we arrived at a more country setting and we could have been in Old Saybrook just judging by the houses and beach.

But it was a beautiful day and a lovely ride. Neither Susan or I had been this way before and we decided we would ride here again. Cosi Beach had a light house and carousel. But the pavilion housing the carousel was not open.

What a great ride!

Please bear with us, as we are experiencing technical difficulties…UPDATED

UPDATE II: It seems that the bug is with WordPress version 3.5.1. So I am going to drop down to WordPress version 3.3 and see if that helps! Eep!

UPDATE: Well it seems that the malfunction is due to a bug that is unresolved at wordpress. I have found the support posting for it and logged my complaint with the others. As you can see, changing themes has not helped. I am at wit’s end. I am throwing up my hands at this point.

02-link-click_add_link Recently, my wordpress hyperlink thing-a-ma-jig has decided not to work. [I click on it and nothing happens, when what is supposed to happen is a box should come up.] At first I thought it was my mouse. But after some Googling I discovered that it was the template I was using, and I could either fix it inserting some new html code by placing it before the “it is Greek to me” and after the “well that would make sense if one was a Martian” place in my template. So like even it I figured all of this out, it still might not work. OR, I could just switch my wordpress theme. So I am going to do the latter and use a newish theme called Graphene. I can’t wait to see what I lose in the transition!

Wish me luck.
